PhoneCheckr: Identify Landline, Mobile, or VOIP Numbers

(video)

“Can Call Loop tell me which phone numbers are landlines or mobile phones?”

There’s not a day that goes by where someone doesn’t ask us that question.

And the reason they ask this is because they want to know which customers can receive SMS text messages and which cannot.

You can’t send a text message to a landline phone!

So to help you easily determine the type your phone numbers are, we’ve built a nice nifty tool called PhoneCheckr.

Here’s some of the details that Phonecheckr will provide you…

  • Identify Carriers
  • Know which carrier is connected to a number. (e.g T-Mobile, Sprint, Google, etc)
  • Identify Type
  • Know if a phone number is a landline, mobile, or VOIP.
  • Gets the Country Code
  • Provides you with the country code from where the number originates. (e.g. BR, US, GB)
  • Checks Junks Numbers
  • Phonecheckr checks the junk and bad numbers instantly and lets you know!
  • Identify Local Formats
  • We’ll format the phone numbers for you in their local format (e.g. (561) 822-2222, (11) 5525-6325)
  • Checks Number Formats
  • We’ll catch the incorrect number entries and formats and let you know.
  • Mobile Country Code
  • This is the country of the mobile number.

How Can I Use Phonecheckr?

For most of our customers, the best way to use this is to quickly determine who can receive a text message and who can only receive voice broadcasts.

If you’re planning on sending SMS text messages to people, then you’ll want to look up your phone numbers to determine who can actually receive texts. You may find that many of your phone numbers cannot receive texts and PhoneCheckr will help you determine that in just a few minutes.

How It Works

Just grab an Excel file or CSV file of your phone numbers are import it on the homepage.

You can download a template here.

Next, PhoneCheckr will scan your numbers and let you know the amount it will check. Then, for just 2¢ per lookup, you can pay using your credit card. And in minutes, you’ll know exactly who you can send texts to.

This feature will be rolling out in the NEW Call Loop platform so if you choose to, it will automatically determine if it’s landline, mobile, or VOIP for you.

You’ll get a report like this!
