New Call Loop Feature! Voice Broadcasting Call Transfers (Press-1)

Well, it’s “kinda” new. Actually we’ve had this feature for a while now, but what spanned this video and this blog post is a question I recent’y got from a Call Loop customer.

Jack said, “Is there a way I can transfer callers from my voice broadcast to my sales team?”

The simple answer… YES you can.

That’s where our Call Transfers feature comes into play.

In fact, here’s 3 simple ways to use Call Transfers to help streamline and optimize your business starting today!

1. Failed Payments Billing Collections

What we do at Call Loop, is when a customers credit card has failed, expired, or had an issue while trying to process a payment, we send an automated voice broadcast to the customer. The message simply says, “We noticed that your credit card was having problems. To update your credit card we’ve sent you an email with a link to update your card or to speak with a billing support agent, press 1 now.”

When they press 1, it immediately transfers over to our support phone number and an agent will pick it up. Its helped us re-coup about 25% of this lost revenue, with declined credit cards. We also combine it with a text message too with the phone number in the text.

We use Infusionsoft to automate our billing and declined credit card followups.

2. Sizzle Call to Voicemail Transfer

Voice broadcasting is great for short messages that grab the “attention” of the caller. Rather than play out a 5 minute audio from your voice broadcast, we recommend you use Call Transfers to send “interested” callers over to a dedicated voicemail.

We personally use and recommend a service like for a voicemail box to play your longer audio messages.

3. Live Lead Transfers

Let’s say you have your automated voice broadcasts going out in a sales process say on day 2 or 3. In your message, you can prompt people to press 1 on their keypad on their phone to get transferred to a live agent.

There’s alot of ways that you can use this in your business, practice, or organization and we’d love to here about them!

  • Question: If you could dynamically change out the “transfer” phone number, how would you use it?

I’m thinking for a sales team to change the transfer number to the individual sales person.

What other ways can you come up with?
